Our Right to Dream
Synopsis
From the perspective of the people who live in the Complexo do Alemão, the largest favela cluster in Rio de Janeiro, OUR RIGHT TO DREAM (75') exposes how the absence of the Brazilian government, violence, racism, and the difficult access to education and culture affect the lives and dreams of children and young people there. The documentary also addresses the alternatives the community promotes to attempt to overcome these challenges.
