Synopsis

A road movie documentary that shows the life of Brazilian countrymen and approaches their major issues: everyday life, their work, the fight against hunger, the difficult access to land, the drought, the water shortage, unemployment, the search for a better life in small towns and urban centers. Through statements of families living in semi-arid regions in the inlands of the Brazilian Northeastern States of Paraíba, Piauí and Maranhão, and of residents in the shantytown of Rocinha, in Rio de Janeiro – where the majority of the residents are from Northeastern origin.
